Kiwis:  Page 49, but also try to fix your mistakes from the homework last night (pages 47-48)

Mango and Papaya:  pages 51 and 52 (please try the area-model/box method with the 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication)
*Due Thursday

Words their Way:  Study for test Friday

Reading:  Find a word in your reading tonight and practice the skills we learned in our notes today (Reader's notebooks should go home.)  Write the word down, and explain how you figured out its meaning.

Greetings one and all,

Here is the homework for a Monday night:

1.  Words Their Way:  We're back and new lists came out today.  Most groups will need to cut words our and sort tonight.

2.  Math:

* Be ready parents...word problems are coming...focus is on multiplication.  We also are incorporating a graphic organizer tomorrow.

Kiwis:  pages 47 and 48 (only 1-5 only)

Papayas and Mangoes:  pages 49 and 50 (all)

*Halloween Party this week Friday from 2:30-3:30pm...Parents are certainly welcome.  We'll be playing a game and eating some great food.  Feel free to stop by.

*Don't forget as well, there is a $50 klanderman buck bonus if you dress like a world changer.

Here is the homework for a Monday night:

Math:
*Great job on the Unit Tests!  I have them graded, but I want Mrs. Fiore and Mrs. Braymer to have a chance to put the grades into the computer, then we will put them in our data binders.  I think we will send them home to get signed though then returned to data binders.

All Groups:

Unit 2 has begun.  We are working on Multiplication.

Pages 29 and 30 tonight.

*Mango and Papaya groups have a chance to work on the Alphabet lines of symmetry extra assignment as an option.

Social Studies:  Unit 2 Test this coming Friday.

*Take book home and look over a section each of the next few nights

Science:  Moon Logs again friday

Here is the homework for a THursday night:

Math:
***ALL GROUPS***

Study for your Unit 1 Test tomorrow

You should bring home your H and R workbook.  (There are a few remembering pages we did not get time to do, and this would be great practice)

You also should bring home your Unit 1 Practice test that is corrected.  It's a great study guide.

*Remember the only difference tomorrow is that this test will be MULTIPLE CHOICE.

Science:  Moon Logs due TOMORROW

Social Studies:  Unit 2 Test will be NEXT week Friday.  

Reading:  Reading logs will be due Monday

*Plus, we went over the requirements for the 4th Grade Reading Celebration.  Check those out with your students tonight as well.

*Come dressed appropriately for the Panther Prowl tomorrow.  Probably sweats, and a jacket.  Check the weather.

Here is the homework for a Wednesday night:

*Special Thanks to Isaac Piper's Dad who allowed us to check out the very cool fire engines!

Math:  We did a great practice test today.  We corrected it, and it's a great study guide for Friday's test.  It's going home today, plus, make sure you did Monday night's homework which is actually due tomorrow.

*Test over Unit 1 for all groups on Friday

Science:  Moon logs Friday

Reading:  Some students did not finish the journal entry on our author of the month Jerry Spinelli.  I'm looking for you to talk about the things you like/dislike about Spinelli's style as an author.

Writing:  Make sure you did last night's writing homework on Elaborating details in our Personal Narratives.

*Don't forget about the Panther Prowl this Friday!!!
