Greetings one and all,

Here is the information you need for a Tuesday.

First of all, special thanks to Mr. Thelen, Mrs. VanKuiken, Mrs. Buitenhuis, Mrs. Tater, and Mr. Roberts for chaperoning the ArtWalk field trip in downtown Grand Haven today.  We had a great time.

Tonight:

1.  Writing:  The students need to elaborate on a very simple story that is going home with them in their Writer's Notebook.  They need to rewrite the story with the 3 elaborated details in that notebook. (Due Wednesday)

2.  Science:  Moon logs Friday

3.  Reading:  Reader's Log Monday

Math:  nothing due tomorrow, but we'll take a practice unit 1 test that will come home completely corrected as a study guide tomorrow.

*All groups have the Unit 1 Test this coming Friday!!!

Kiwis:  pages 23 and 24 (Due Thursday)
Papayas and Mangoes:  pages 25 and 26 (Due Thursday)

2.  Moon Logs due Friday

3.  New Reader's Logs due next Monday
*The requirements for the NEW and IMPROVED 4th Grade Reading Celebration will be handed out this Thursday

*Words Their Way (Spelling) begins next week

*Field Trip tomorrow to downtown Grand Haven for the Art Walk.  Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.  (10:00-1:30pm)

*We also STILL have PE tomorrow afternoon.

*Square One art notes went home tonight.  This is optional, but cool thing for your kids to do.  No class time will be taken on this.

*Look for both Literacy Specials and Words Their Way (spelling) to kick off in October.
