*Kiwi group, don't worry about the stretch your thinking, Papaya and Mango must give it a try.
*Wednesday, April 1 Unit 6 (Fractions) test
3. Social Studies: Midwest Map test this Friday
4. Reading: Number the Stars and Blizzard Year Projects are due Friday!
15 days left to meet your reading goal to qualify for the Celebration.
*Remember...just because you don't go to the Celebration you can still earn the bonus $$$ by getting that goal before the end of the year.

1. Words Their Way lists should be home tonight and studied for tomorrow's test. ALL GROUPS.
2. Math: pages 135 and 136 for Friday
*Mini Quiz tomorrow as well.
3. Social Studies Midwest Region Map test NEXT week Friday
*practice test for $$$ next Wednesday
4. Reading: Blizzard and Number/Stars Projects due next Friday
*19 days remain for reading goals.

Greetings one and all,
Here is the homework for a Wednesday night:
1. Math: pages 133 and 134 for Thursday.
*Adding and Subtracting fractions with like denominators.
2. Reading: Number the Stars and Blizzard Year projects are due Friday, March 20.
*Most students are getting those finished in class.
*Reading Goals are due now in 21 days. WOW!!! Students are really rolling, but man I wish they would have moved this quick with projects back in November and December.
Writing: Our new unit is Nonfiction writing and the kids will be selecting a unique sport to research and write about in the coming weeks. That selection will take place on Friday from a list I have provided for the kids.

Greetings one and all,
Here is the homework for a Wednesday night:
1. Math: NO Homework tonight.
*We got our scores today from Math Unit 5, they are going straight into our data binders. You'll see them here at the end of the month. Your kids know what their score is. Several are going to retest it here tomorrow or Friday. So understand that those scores are changeable for the better.
*With that being said. If a student is going to retest, then some studying and practice should be done. There are pages available for that practice.
2. Science: Test on Friday, plus vocab cards are also due.
3. Reading goals: 27 left.
*Words Their Way tests are Friday. Words should be looked over and prepared.

*Ask your kids about TenMarks Math online tonight. They have a username and password. Great extra practice. Very different from xtramath.
2. Science Test Friday
*Vocab cards are also due that day. Study your journal or vocab cards and term sheet. On second thought just bring your whole folder home.

2. Math: No Math Homework for the week. (several test going on)
*Please Note: Students had a chance to take home several practice pages concerning measurement. Time, Metric Conversion, and Customary (English) Conversion, to help them get ready for Wednesday's test.
3. Science: Test Friday and Vocab cards are also due Friday.
*study what you highlighted in your journals today!
*2 flipcharts of paper with states of matter could also be studied.
4. New Words Their Way went home tonight. Study for Friday
5. Reading Goal Sheets are going home tonight. 29 days left before the end of the Celebration requirements.
*New reading log went home tonight too.
*Please turn in your Conference sheets by this week Friday.
*Check out the new change!!!! No worries if you already turned it in.
