Here is the homework for a Thursday night:

LONG DAY of MEAP testing, but it is the LAST DAY FOR THIS WEEK.

Next week we are looking at MEAP on Tuesday and Wednesday, here is the set-up:

Tuesday:  Math
Wednesday:  Writing Part 2

*Just 20 minutes of Reading tonight

*Parents hopefully received an email concerning Monday's Social Studies test.  Students should be doing some studying tonight and over the weekend for Monday's test.

No Math homework tonight.

Here is the homework for a Wednesday night:

1.  Math:  pages 87 and 88 for tomorrow

2.  MEAP for Thursday (last day of the week for MEAP)  Writing Day 1 (2 parts)

3.  20 minutes of reading

4.  2 moon observations due Friday

*Yellow conference time sheet!!!  (If you need a change I need that back PRONTO)

Greetings one and all,

Here is the homework for a Tuesday night:

1.  Math:  if you didn't finish pages 85 and 86 last night finish those to be corrected for tomorrow.

2.  Writing:  Select an article from Time For Kids and write a brief opinion response to the article.
*Make sure you have at least 2 reasons supporting your opinion.

3.  Read for 20 minutes.

*Great 1st day of MEAPs, get ready for Day 2 tomorrow.

*Also, our first compliment party will take place on Thursday.  If you have a PG or less DVD that would be fun for us to relax and watch that afternoon you have permission to bring it in.  Also, you may bring pillows and blankets in as we push the desks out of the way and relax.

Here is the homework for a Monday night:

1.  MEAP testing begins tomorrow with Day 1 Reading.
9:30-10:30 part 1
12:35-1:35 part 2

2.  Math:  pages 85 and 86
*Some did this in class, so just check it over for quality

3.  Final Drafts of Personal Narrative will be due some time next week.  Date to be announced later.

4.  Science:  2 moon observations this week.

Here's the homework for a Monday:

1.  Math:  Unit 1 Test on Wednesday
*Tonight one extra page of practice on interpreting graphs.  Only do the one page, but add 4 additional questions of your own that you could ask about the information on the graph.

2.  2 Moon Observations this week.

3.  20 minutes of independent reading.

4.  Yellow conference sheets went home tonight.  Get those back before next week Monday, Oct. 8 please.  Thanks.

*I'll be gone at a funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) so no BLOG update.  See you again on Wednesday.
