Here is the homework for a Wednesday:
1. Math: pages 231 and 232
*Mini quiz covering multiplication of fractions Thursday
2. Science: any re-tests of the vocabulary tests from last week must be taken no later than tomorrow
*2 pages of your Crab investigation need to be completed for tomorrow (pages 12 and 13)
3. 20 minutes of independent reading
*Most of the Literature circle groups are doing great using their time in class and there really shouldn't be much extra reading homework with these books, as long as class time is used appropriately.
4. Writing: Fiction Final Drafts are due at the end of the day Friday

*Mini-Quiz this Thursday over Exponents and simple fraction multiplication
*Math help at lunch tomorrow.
2. Writing: 2nd TYPED Rough drafts of the fiction stories are due this Friday.
*Friday is Green Day: bring a $1 and wear green, the $ goes to help the Waterfront Recycling Program downtown in Grand Haven.

The count on days left of 5th grade is 40 days. I don't tell you that to celebrate, I tell you that to help you realize how quickly these days are going to fly by!
Here is the homework for a Monday:
1. Math: Unit 7 tests are finished, we are re-teaching a couple pieces, but tests should go home no later than this week Thursday
*Homework for tonight is pages 207 and 208, plus an additional sheet covering prime vs. composite numbers
*Mini Quiz this week Thursday
2. Science: parent note going home for your information from Mrs. Horodyski
3. Writing: The fiction 2nd TYPED drafts need to be completed for the beginning of the day on Friday.
